Registration Services

IMMARBE’s Registration Department is the central focus of the Ship Registry which facilitates the registration of vessels, and the Merchant Ships Registration Act provides the legal framework for the registration of ships.

The department is responsible for ensuring that all vessels registered with the Belize Registry comply with the relevant laws and regulations and that they have official navigational documentation to navigate on international seas.

The department is tasked with delivering efficient ship registration services, to clients, shipowners, and designed offices. These services include new vessel registration, mortgage registration, transfer of ownership, vessel deletion, and other related services.
