List of Documents for the appointment of a new Recognized Organization/ Recognized Security Organization (RO/RSO)

The following is the list of documents that need to be submitted for an appointment of the Recognized Organization/Recognized Security Organization of IMMARBE:

Name of RO/RSO:

1. Full address and name of the contact person responsible for dealing with Statutory Certification on behalf of our Administration,
2. Company Profile/Beneficiary Ownership,
3. Copy of ISO Certification obtained by your Organization,
4. Copy of the Organizational chart of your company with the name of the person made responsible for a particular position,
5. A list of the Technical Department Staff and their CVs at the Head Office,
6. A listing of offices/representatives distributed around the world,
7. A list of approved surveyors along with their CVs, licenses, and their geographical coverage and state whether they are exclusive surveyors,
8. Procedures in place for the issuance of ISM and ISPS Certificates and qualifications of the staff in this respect (certificated auditors),
9. Copy of Rules/Procedures/Instructions for the Survey & Certification of Vessels (each type of survey/each type of certificate/each type of vessel),
10. Copy of any authorization to act on behalf of other Flags,
11. Statistical graph, showing self-assessments conducted by the RO/RSO over their performance in respect of Casualties of vessels certified by them and Port State Control performance in all major MoUs, i.e., USCG, Paris, Tokyo over a period of 3yrs. minimum (if available).
12. Copies of each of the DRAFT Statutory Certificates to be issued on our behalf,
13. Confirmation of Marine Survey (2007) No.631 from the MSA of China (where applicable),
14. Procedures for appointment and continuous updating of field/staff surveyor’s qualifications,
15. General information about your company providing a description of the services it provides and the resources in terms of technical, managerial, and research capabilities as RO.
