Requirements for the appointment of a Deputy Registrar

The following is the list of documents that need to be submitted for an appointment as Deputy Registrar of IMMARBE:

Corporate File

  1. Cover Letter
  2. Curriculum Vitae of the individual to be appointed as Deputy Registrar with a recent picture.
  3. Educational Certificates, Training Certificates (listed on the CV)
  4. Picture of a valid passport
  5. Details of the company, its ultimate beneficial owners, and the location for the operation.
  6. Full Details of the Maritime Regulatory Organization or similar membership details of corporate affiliations and group association.
  7. Details of your professional advisor including your auditors.
  8. Copy of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Certificate (if applicable).
  9. Company’s Organogram
  10. Other information that you consider relevant to the assessment of your experience/eligibility.

Performance and Other Information Resources

  1. A one-year business plan including marketing of the Belize Flag in your region. Two business references (Businesses/organizations your company had worked with, must be issued on an official letterhead, and duly signed and stamped by the referee).
  2. Details of all relevant experience relating to the operation of the shipping register or other similar operations.
  3. Details of all other appointments from other shipping registries.
  4. Two references (Personal/Business) for the person nominated for Deputy Registrar appointment.
  5. Training Requirement (Face-to-Face)/Potential DR comes to Belize/IMMARBE Staff travels to the respective country at DR expense) (Virtual Training).
